Study: Homeopathy for pains in the neck

Do you suffer from neck pain or stiffness? If so, you may have cervical spondylosis.
Do you have tingling, numbness, weakness or pain in shoulder, arm or hand? If the answer is yes, then you may also have cervical radiculopathy.
Cervical spondylosis is the general term for age-related wear and tear (osteoarthritis) of the vertebrae and discs in the neck.
It’s a common problem, often starting when people are in their 30’s. By the age of 65-years or older, more than 90% of people will be affected by it.
When the wear and tear from spondylosis pinches the nerves leading to the arms, causing pain or numbness, it is then called cervical radiculopathy.
Homeopathy can help.
Dr Madhavan has provided a comprehensive document on these two conditions which also includes a study of 21 people affected, and the homeopathic remedies used to treat them.
For information about the remedies used and the results achieved in his study, go straight to page 37. Information on other potential remedies is found in the pages preceding.
If you have one or both of these problems, best results will be obtained by seeing a qualified homeopath who will choose the appropriated remedy and dosing schedule for you.

Queen's corgis fed homeopathic remedies in order of seniority, trainer says

Dog trainer to the Queen's corgis says the animals are fed in rank order off silver plates

By Hannah Furness, Arts Correspondent

Admirers of the Royal family may well expect the Queen's mealtimes to be dominated by strict protocol about seniority, dinner served on silver and porcelain, and specially-designed menus for each member of the family.
They may not be aware that such luxury applies not only to human Royals, but also their dogs.
The Queen’s corgis also enjoy an “individually designed menu”, served by hand in strict order of each dog’s importance, their trainer has disclosed.
Dr Roger Mugford, an animal psychologist and behavioural therapist, said the Royal corgis eat homeopathic and herbal remedies along with their favourite fare, presented to them by a butler.

In an interview with Town & Country magazine, which has dedicated its next issue to the Queen’s 90th birthday, he lifted the lid on the Royal pets and their lives behind the scenes.
“At feeding times, each dog had an individually designed menu, including an array of homeopathic and herbal remedies,” said Dr Mugford, describing a visit to the Queen’s inner circle.
“Their food was served by a butler in an eclectic collection of battered silver and porcelain dishes.
“As I watched, the Queen got the corgis to sit in a semi-circle around her, and then fed them one by one, in order of seniority.

“The others just sat and patiently waited their turn.”
The dogs have previously been reported to be fed on a diet including fillet steak, chicken breast and home-made gravy, with scones crumbled up into their bowls for a treat.
Speaking of the Queen’s love of animals, Dr Mugford continued: “The Queen has definite views about how dogs should be cared for: she doesn’t tolerate unkindness, and I remember she took a very dim view of President Lyndon B Johnson picking his dogs up by their ears.
“When she’s talking about her dogs or her horses you see a completely different side to her: she relaxes.

“Dogs are great levellers, and they’re not influenced by social status, which must be a great relief to her.
“No wonder she enjoys being around them.”
The Queen’s devotion to corgis, which were introduced to the Royal family by George VI. dates back to her 18th birthday, when she received Susan, a Pembroke, for her 18th birthday.
She has gone on to own more than 30 of the dogs, descended from Susan and often photographed accompanying her on and off duty.

She currently owns just two, Holly and Willow, with two other Dorgis – a cross-breed of a Corgi and a Daschund – named Candy and Vulcan.
It has previously been disclosed that the Queen will not introduce any new Corgis to her Royal household, after decades of replacing the pets after one dies.
Dr Mugford will share the secrets of the Royal dog dinners in the spring issue of quarterly magazine Town & Country, on sale February 25.
The edition will include a portfolio of rarely seen photographs from her reign, as well as the recipe for Prince William’s favourite chocolate cake.

The magazine is one of many publications to mark the Queen's 90th birthday this year.
A new book, published by the Bible Society, churches' group HOPE and the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity, also celebrates the long reign.
Writing in the foreword, the Queen said she is "very grateful" for the country's prayers and that she has felt God's "faithfulness" throughout her reign.
"The extent and pace of change has been truly remarkable," she said, in book The Servant Queen And The King She Serves. "We have witnessed triumphs and tragedies."
The monarch also took the opportunity to allude to the current problems in the Middle East saying the world is now experiencing "terrible suffering on an unprecedented scale".

What do David Beckham, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Usain Bolt and Pamela Anderson have in common? They are all fans of homeopathy.Homeopathy is said to be the fastest growing system of medicine in the world, and after conventional medicine, the most widely used. Yet, despite having been used safely for the last 200 years, it remains a controversial topic with sceptics claiming homeopathy to be “quackery” and a “waste of money”.

Often confused with herbal medicine, homeopathy is a unique medical system that treats the whole body - not only the symptoms of an illness - by using the "law of similars". According to this practice, a patient is given a minute dose of a substance which would cause the same symptoms in a healthy person, and this action will subsequently trigger the body's immune system to heal itself. The exact workings of homeopathy, however, remain a mystery and numerous scientific studies have failed to find proof of its efficacy; explaining the positive results seen by homeopathic patients with the so-called placebo-effect – when a belief in a medicine’s healing abilities actually makes the patient feel better.
While this age-old debate rages on, millions of people continue to use homeopathy successfully and many others discover it when the route of conventional medication has failed them.

Pop star Cher Oscar-winning actress and pop star Cher gives homeopathy the tribute for curing her from a debilitating viral illness which struck her in 1987 and manifested in chronic fatigue and bouts of pneumonia.
“I don't think I'd still be around today if it weren't for homeopathic medicine. I was sick with an Epstein-Barr virus which led to chronic fatigue and I couldn't work effectively for two years,” she told the Scottish Sunday Mail in an exclusive interview.
"I tried regular medicine and it just didn't work. Doctors said any illness was all in my head. People thought I was crazy,” the star recalls.
“I then turned to a Sikh homeopathic doctor, almost in desperation. He started doing homeopathic stuff with herbs and vitamin therapy. Many doctors didn't believe in all that back then. Within four months, he'd got me up and back on the road again.”
The star pledged her support for the Glasgow Homeopathic Hospital in 2004 after seeing TV news reports that the government was slashing the city's health budget by 58 million pounds and threatening to close down the hospital.
Supermodel Cindy Crawford
Supermodel Cindy Crawford revealed on the Oprah Winfrey Show that homeopathic medicines are must-haves in her life.“I am the doctor of our family and I'm a big fan of homeopathy," the mother of two told Oprah.
“If I have the kids, for sure, I always take this with me," she explained, holding up a plastic kit containing small vials of homeopathic first aid medicines. Cindy said she carries these medicines in case of bee stings, mosquito bites, and bruises. "You need like five of those little pellets," she said, adding that they "taste sweet so the kids will take them".
Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt
The world's fastest man, Usain Bolt, has been a patient of controversial German sports doctor Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt for many years. He first visited the doctor, who also makes use of homeopathy, at his Munich clinic when he was a teenager.
“I've been coming here since I was 16,” the 100m world record holder recently said at a press conference in Munich. “It's been a long relationship. Every time I have a problem, he always gives good advice and treatments. He's the best at what he does. We are very close,” Bolt said, adding that he also receives “vitamin injections and stuff”.
Bolt was born with scoliosis, a curvature of the lower spine, which makes him more susceptible to back pain and injuries.
Dr Müller-Wohlfahrt is a world leader in the treatment of sports injuries and well-known for his holistic approach. Though conventionally trained in medicine and orthopaedics, his treatment includes manual diagnostics, as well as herbal and homeopathic remedies and acupuncture.
The core of his treatments is what he calls "infiltrations", in which homeopathic preparations and other substances are injected into the injury site to take away pain and speed up recovery.
Other famous patients include Paula Radcliffe, Kelly Holmes, Tyson Gay, Ronaldo, Michael Owen, Steven Gerrard and Boris Becker. He is also the team doctor for the German national football team and FC Bayern München.
Actress Pamela Anderson
Model and actress, Pamela Anderson, best known for her role in Baywatch, was infected with hepatitis C in 2002 and credits homeopathic treatment with helping to keep her in good health today. She made her illness public in a media statement, saying she contracted the serious liver disease from sharing a tattoo needle with her ex-husband, rock musician Tommy Lee.On first sharing the news, she was very worried and even predicted that she would die from the disease within a decade. But then she started seeing a homeopath doctor in Los Angeles. Her health improved greatly and her optimism returned:
“It was very, very frightening in the beginning and sapping my strength,” she told a reporter in 2004.  “But now I am very healthy. My liver was just tested and I have stayed exactly the same or slightly improved over the last few years. I feel great. I'm convinced my homeopathic remedy is keeping me strong.
Her homeopath, Wendy Hewland, told Us Weekly magazine that she “made a signal remedy specifically for Pam” that Anderson is using as an alternative form of medicine.
Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones
Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones is perhaps best known for her role in the movie Chicago, for which she won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 2003. Her role as Velma required her to sing and dance – and it’s especially the strenuous dance regimes in the movie that took their toll:"I had six weeks of training that were incredibly tough but I knew that these efforts were going to be on film for the rest of my life,” Zeta-Jones told the Daily Mail. “It took me a long time to get into the swing and I needed many long, hot, salt baths."
She also credits homeopathy for treating her pain and bruises. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly she mentioned how arnica had become her best friend on the set of Chicago.
“The pain wasn't there when I was applying arnica. I had that sticky stuff glued to me for months. It brings out the bruising, darling."
Singer-songwriter Paul McCartney
Former Beatles member and singer-songwriter Paul McCartney is a great fan of homeopathy. "I can't manage without homeopathy. In fact, I never go anywhere without homeopathic remedies. I often make use of them," he says.
He was introduced to homeopathy by his wife Linda, who saw the great results of homeopathy when she could not get rid of her tonsillitis.
When first diagnosed with tonsillitis she was prescribed a course of antibiotics which only provided temporary relief – her symptoms soon returned. When she consulted a homeopathic doctor, however, her symptoms not only went away rapidly; they never returned.

Soccer star David Beckham
When soccer superstar David Beckham broke a bone in his foot just before the 2002 World Cup, he was devastated; and so were the English soccer fans. The first World Cup game was only 50 days away and chances of him playing were virtually zero. Beckham was told that his injury, a broken metatarsal bone, would take between four to six weeks to heal, with another two to four weeks needed for rehabilitation. The star received intensive treatment which included homeopathy to speed up his recovery. He was so impressed with the results of the homeopathic treatment that he told the world about it.
He reportedly also is a great fan of arnica, which is a well-known remedy to reduce and relieve pain, bruising and inflammation. Beckham’s wife, Victoria, also uses homeopathic meds and is said to have relied on it heavily during her third pregnancy to combat morning sickness.

R&R Queen Tina Turner
Multi-award winning artist and “Queen of Rock & Roll” Tina Turner suffered from tuberculosis in the mid 1970s and was only cured when she received homeopathic treatment. She initially sought conventional treatment but continued to suffer until she visited Dr Chandra Sharma, a homeopathic doctor in England. She was cured within six weeks and reportedly was able to maintain the high energy musical performance for which she is now famous, due to this homeopathic treatment.
She considered him as her doctor and friend and continued to see him for various homeopathic and natural medicines until his death.
In her autobiography, I, Tina the star recalls how she was forced by her abusive husband Ike Turner, to perform even when she was very ill with tuberculosis.
"Life in the fast lane wore me down, changes in my diet and homeopathy saved me.  Thanks to my homeopathic physician, for bringing me back to health..."
Tina is continuing her homeopathic treatment with Dr Sharma’s son Rajandra, who was his protégé and is carrying on his work.
Actress Monica Bellucci
Italian actress and model Monica Bellucci relies on natural remedies to maintain her youthful appearance and says she will use homeopathy first before trying hormone therapies as she approaches menopause."Menopause? I'm mentally ready, and I'm not afraid," the 47-year-old star recently told the Italian edition of Vanity Fair.

"I am a huge supporter of homeopathy. I'll try the natural treatments first of all and only later I'll see if I need the traditional hormone therapies," she said. She added that she was not afraid of the ageing process and would rather mature gracefully than go for cosmetic surgery. “Wrinkles are better than a plastic face.”

Actress Kim CattrallKim Cattrall, who is best known for her award-winning role as Samantha in the hit TV series Sex and the City, was first introduced to homeopathy when she lived in Frankfurt, Germany in the eighties.
Her favourite homeopathic remedy is arnica and a remedy for cold and flu called Oscillococcinum. "Arnica! I love it! I use it all the time because I bruise easily,” she told Los Angeles Daily News. “I use Oscillo too. I love it! I lived in Germany and that's how I know about homeopathic medicines.”
Interestingly enough, her Sex and the City character Samantha is also a supporter of homeopathy. In the movie Sex and the City 2 she is seen toting around a satchel full of homeopathic pills and creams to ward off hot flushes and a diminished libido. # Holly wood actress Liz Hurley and Madonna use Bach flower remedies for their emotional well-being.
# Former Indian President Hon. Gyani Zail Singh used to take Homeopathic Medicines from Late. Dr. KPS Bakshi.
# Ms Uma Bharti a renowned Politician and voracious orator takes Homoepathic Medicines for her throat Ailment.
# In England, The Royal Family has regularly used Homeopathy since the 1830’s. Today, QUEEN ELIZABETH II is a patron to the famed Royal London Homeopathic Hospital and PRINCE CHARLES are known to carry Homeopathic medicines whenever they travel.
# GAY GAER LUCE. Ph.D. (twice winner of The National Science Writer’s Award) said that, "Homeopathy is a highly developed health practice that uses a systematic approach to the totality of a person’s health. Anyone seeking a fullerunderstanding of health and healing will find Homeopathy extremely important and applicable."
# MARK TWAIN once said: ".... (For) the introduction of Homeopathy, which forced the old school doctor to stir around and learn something of a rational nature about his business. YOU MAY HONESTLY FEEL GRATEFUL THAT HOMEOPATHY SURVIVED THE ATTEMPTS OF THE ALLOPATHS (THE ORTHODOX PHYSICIANS) TO DESTROY IT." Harper’s Magazine. February 1890.
# WILLIAM JAMES stated that, "An enormous mass of experience, both of Homeopathic doctors and their patients, is invoked in favor of the efficacy of these remedies and doses."
# JOHN D. ROCKEFELLER thought that Homeopathy is a "progressive and aggressive step in medicine."

# MAHATMA GANDHI declared that, "Homeopathy...cures a larger percentage of cases than any other method of treatment and is beyond all doubt safer, more economical, and the most complete medical science.

Treating hay fever: Homeopathy and other self-help tips

4/6/2016

When working well, our immune system protects us from the bacteria, viruses and toxins that enter our bodies. With hay fever though, something goes horribly amiss and it starts to over-react to harmless substances such as pollens, grasses, and animal dander. This allergic response results in a cluster of symptoms that make life miserable such as sneezing, stuffy or running nose, itching, headaches, asthma, watery eyes, post nasal drip and fogginess.
While hay fever may seem to be about surface symptoms only, it is really a deep-seated complaint. Commonly prescribed sprays and tablets that suppress hay fever symptoms may bring temporary relief but don’t get to the root of the problem. They are also associated with side effects and so are probably the least helpful option for long-term improvement.
In this article we provide simple self-help measures that go a long way to reducing the frequency and intensity of hay fever symptoms, and explore some of the homeopathic and conventional treatment options from the perspective of indications and safety.
Finally, a list of remedies commonly used by homeopaths to treat hayfever, along with when they should be chosen, will help you decide which one may help you.
Simple steps for managing hay feverThere are several self help measures at little cost which may help with hay fever. They are:
  1. Drink plenty of water. When you’re well hydrated the mucous membranes of your nose remain moist to expel allergens more easily.
  2. Consider using a neti pot. These small pots can be filled with a warm sea salt solution and used to flush your nasal passages and expel irritants.
  3. Coat your nostrils. Lightly smear a non-absorbent ointment, such as paw-paw ointment, onto the inner surface of your nostrils to create a protective film that traps allergens.
  4. Know your triggers. Most hay fever sufferers are affected by the wind but some are worse indoors while others itch and sneeze when outside. Avoid your triggers when pollen counts are high.
  5. Use Food as your Medicine.
  • Healthy fats and oils such as olive oil, fish oil and even moderate amounts of animal fats are important for a healthy immune system. Studies show that those who eat mostly polyunsaturated and trans-fats, as found in many margarines and processed foods, are more likely to suffer allergies.
  • Onions and garlic can be used for their homeopathic effect – the symptoms they cause, they can also treat. Both contain natural compounds that reduce the inflammation of hay fever. Add them liberally to your meals or, if you are up to it, eat them by themselves to reduce nasal irritation and streaming eyes.
  • Local raw honey can be used as a crude form of homeopathy to desensitise yourself to local pollens from which the honey was produced. Start by taking a small amount each day before the start of hay fever season, gradually increasing to a teaspoon or more. Continue right through the season for best results.
  • Spices such as horseradish, mustard, chillies and fenugreek also help through a crude homeopathic effect – they can relieve the very hay fever-like symptoms they produce. Add them liberally to meals or take them alone to thin mucus and expel irritants.
Safe and risky ways to treat hay feverIf we want the best result for the least risk when treating our health problems, we must think carefully about the different types of treatment option available.
Conventional medicine depends on the allopathic effect for most of its treatments. It relieves symptoms by palliating or suppressing them for short periods of time. The drawback is that side effects are common and continual suppression can lead to worsening health.
Homeopathy seeks to stimulate the body’s innate ability to self heal. The goal of treatment is to strengthen rather than weaken this ability so that full healing is more likely. Homeopathy does this through potentised remedies that closely match the symptoms of the person’s disease and are free of toxic side-effects.
Homeopathy and hay fever researchNumerous studies indicate homeopathy should be a treatment of choice for allergies. They showed that homeopathy alleviated the symptoms of hay fever and other hypersensitivity disorders and led to improved quality of life without dangerous side-effects. A sampling of these studies have been placed in the Research section of the website.
Treating hay fever with homeopathyTreating yourself with homeopathy during an acute phase of hay fever is easy as long as you know which remedy matches your symptoms. Relief with the correct remedy is usually rapid – sometimes within minutes – and all remedies are considered safe for use during pregnancy and with babies through to the elderly when taken according to instructions.
Do be aware that self-treatment does have its limits. While the remedies and potencies in home use kits help to provide symptomatic relief they are unlikely to get deep enough to correct a predisposition to chronic hay fever. A course of treatment by a qualified homeopath is much better suited to this. The bonus is that other health problems should also improve along with your hay fever during this deeper treatment.
To relieve acute hay fever symptoms yourself, look through the remedies listed below to see which one matches your symptoms – then just take it. Instructions on how to dose, and how often, can be found here. If there is no improvement by 3-4 doses just reassess your symptoms and choose a different remedy that matches your symptoms more closely – no harm will be done.
Should you find it difficult to sort through your symptoms, ABC Homeopathy has an online remedy finder to make it easier. Or, consider using our Hayfever Complex that combines a number of the more frequently needed remedies – if the one you need is in the mix it will provide relief.
Alternately, an appointment can be made with a homeopath who will assess your symptoms in full and make a constitutional prescription to help you get on top of the problem once and for all.
Common homeopathic remedies for hay feverAllium cepa (All-c.)This remedy, prepared from the red onion, treats the symptom of streaming eyes and nose that is worse in warm and stuffy rooms. (People who need All-c may even crave and feel better for eating onions.) Their nasal discharge burns while tears from the eyes are bland – the opposite to Euphrasia’s symptoms. Sneezing can be intense and frequent and eyes are sensitive to the light.
Arsenicum album (Ars.)This is one of the best remedies for hay fever.  Burning or itching in the nose, eyes or throat being a strong indication.  The discharges from both eyes and nose will be burning (but check to make sure that Allium cepa or Euphrasia are not better indicated – Euphrasia has the opposite symptoms). An improvement of the symptoms in the open air, although sensitive to light, is usually an indication for this remedy.
Euphrasia (Euphr.)A classic remedy for hay fever where, again, there is lots of sneezing with streaming eyes and nose.  If the water from the eyes burns the cheeks and the discharge from the nose is not too bad, this remedy is needed.  (Allium cepa has the opposite symptoms). The remedy is indicated if the symptoms improve in the open air – obviously away from pollen.  Sensitivity to light may be apparent in both Euphrasia and Allium cepa.
Natrum muriaticum (Nat-m.)Initially, there is a streaming, bland discharge from both the eyes and nose with lots of sneezing.  Later, there is nasal discharge that is thick and clear like the white of an egg with loss of taste and smell.  This is not one of the main remedies for hay fever but it can bring great relief to the type who gets easily burned, feel generally miserable, uncomfortable, blotchy and irritated in the sun.
Nux vomica (Nux-v.)This is one of the best remedies for when there is lots of sneezing, streaming from the eyes and nose, and an irritable, nasty mood.  (If they are sweet tempered, it is unlikely to help.) The symptoms are worse in dry air and relieved when the atmosphere is damp.
Pulsatilla pratensis (Puls.)The main indications for this remedy are a weepy, needy, state of mind, together with discharges that are thick, bland (not acrid) and green or yellow.  Pulsatilla frequently has one side of the nose blocked or congested.
Sulphur (Sulph.)Watery, burning nasal discharge, or a blocked nose, when outside. Frequent sneezing. Blocking of nose on alternate sides. Burning pain in eyes. Symptoms worsened by warmth and becoming warm in bed. Better for being in open air. May be lazy, opinionated, and desire sweets, alcohol, and spicy food.
Less commonly used remedies for hay feverAmbrosia artemisaefolia (Ambro.)Intolerable itching and watering from eyes. Burning of eyes. Sneezing and watery nasal discharge. Nose and head feel stuffy. Nose bleeds.
Arum triphyllum (Arum-t .)Irritation or itching in the nose leading to boring, picking, rubbing. May pick at lips and face. Throat, mouth, tongue, and palate may burn, making it difficult to eat or drink despite having a thirst. People who need Arum-t may experience concurrent hoarseness and peeling or chapping of the lips.
Histaminum ( Hist.)Consider this remedy when either no other remedy seems accurate or if other remedies have been tried and haven’t worked.
Kali bichromicum ( Kali-bi.)Consider this remedy when thick, stringy, green or yellowish mucus from the nose or throat is present. There may also be a post-nasal or pain at the root of the nose relieved by hard pressure.
Sabadilla officinarum (Sabad.)Hay fever with frequent, spasmodic sneezing that exhausts the person. Sneezing from tickling inside the nose, and sneezing that causes the eyes to water. Profuse, watery nasal discharge and red and burning eyelid margins. Symptoms worse in the open air, better in a warm room. Dry mouth but little thirst.
Solidago ( Solid.)Burning, stinging eyes. Paroxysms of sneezing with mucus discharge from nose. One of the main remedies for people allergic to house dust mite.
Wyethia helenoides (Wye)Tremendous itching of the upper palate of the mouth causing the person to make “clucking” noises in effort to provide some relief. Itching of the nose and throat, along with a constant desire to swallow saliva to relieve the dryness may also be present.
The conventional approach – allopathic treatmentConventional medicine treats hay fever with antihistamines, steroids, or desensitisation treatments. For stubborn cases that fail to improve, laser surgery may be recommended to destroy the mucus-forming nasal tissue. Let’s look at each option in more detail.
AntihistaminesAnyone can be affected by the side-effects of antihistamines but children and the elderly are more vulnerable. Antihistamines can worsen conditions such as glaucoma, enlarged prostate gland, difficulty in passing urine, or bowel blockage, and their safety during pregnancy hasn’t been established. They also hold increased risks for those with liver or kidney disease.
Some of the most common side-effects include: headache; drowsiness; dizziness; blurred vision; confusion; dry mouth; constipation; and difficulty passing urine. Once the antihistamine effect wears off, hay fever symptoms are usually return.
SteroidsSteroids (corticosteroids) for hay fever are available as sprays, creams and tablets. Steroids generally produce more problems than antihistamines. They may lead to unpleasant or dangerous side-effects such as high blood pressure, bleeding from the bowels or stomach, reduced healing, poor muscle growth, weight gain, and electrolyte imbalances. Long term use increases the likelihood of these symptoms along with diabetes, glaucoma, and eye damage. In addition, patients may experience mood swings, personality changes, agitation, nervousness, tiredness, lack of energy, and depression.
Desensitisation treatmentsThe homeopathy effect can take place anywhere – even with some approaches used by conventional medicine. Modern allergy treatments that expose people to small amounts of the substance to which they are allergic unknowingly use the homeopathic principle of ‘like treats like’. Homeopaths have used this approach for two centuries but are aware that if even smaller amounts are used, and in potency, the results are faster and better.
Homeopaths also know that while a homeopathic remedy prepared from an allergen (the substance that triggers an allergic response) can bring temporary relief or surface improvement, a deeper-acting remedy that addresses the person’s whole state of ill-health will lead to the hay fever being eradicated permanently and better health overall.
Laser surgeryLaser surgery is used to vaporise the mucus membranes of the nose to inhibit the symptoms of hay fever. Care has to be taken to prevent burning of the nasal tissue. Success is variable and re-vaporisation is often needed when symptoms return over time.
Making a choiceSuppressing symptoms for short term relief does not produce the best long term results for hay fever and is associated with side effects and even permanent injury. When safer options are available we would all be wise to explore those first. Homeopathy is one of those options
